Rachel Skyman is Founder and Designer of IsleField, an American sweater brand. The collection is known for its novel pattern work, and classic, yet relevant sweaters, scarves, and tops.
Born in Brooklyn, New York and Raised in Panama, the Republic of Panama, Rachel graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in apparel design, and then moved to New York to pursue a career in the fashion industry. She worked in design for some of the leaders in American Fashion, including Ralph Lauren, Lilly Pulitzer, and Tommy Hilfiger.
She moved to the Main Line of Pennsylvania in 2007. A few years later, she started renovations on her 1911 Carriage House “IsleField” which inspired the branding for the business.
She launched IsleField in 2014 at a well-known boutique called “Patricia Adams” in Haverford, Pennsylvania. As Founder and Creative Director of IsleField Rachel Skyman employs her creative edge and love for texture to inform all things IsleField from its design, development, and careful curation of versatile styles to the look and feel of the site and mobile apps.
Rachel lives just outside of Philadelphia along the Main Line with her family and sweet black retriever.
